Biography
Mr. Perrin grew up in central Pennsylvania, where he attended a classical school before receiving his B.A. in Philosophy from Messiah University. He subsequently spent multiple summers and a year-long fellowship studying Latin and Classics immersively in Rome, Italy. Mr. Perrin did his graduate work at St. John’s College, receiving an M.A. in Liberal Arts. His areas of academic interest include second language acquisition, the golden-age Latin poets, ancient philosophy, the history of science, and the relationship between music and poetic form. Besides teaching, Mr. Perin enjoys playing musical instruments, singing in the choir, and going on walks with his wife and family.
