Biography

A graduate of Master’s Seminary, Howard Payne University, and Armed Forces School of Music, the Rev. Keith Saare is a retired active-duty Army chaplain and prior trumpet player for the 62d Army Band. The highlights of Mr. Saare’s military career include a war deployment to Afghanistan and a four year assignment in Europe during which time he traveled extensively for ministry and NATO missions. Prior to joining the faculty of Scholé Academy, Mr. Saare taught New Testament Greek at two Christian universities. His intellectual interests include studying Germanic Alpine cultures & language, conversational Latin, classical literature, presuppositional apologetics, and Anglicanism. Rev. Saare is the Vicar of the historic St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Tombstone, Arizona which is the oldest Protestant church in the state and has ties to the famous gunslinger Wyatt Earp. Now residing in the Sonoran Desert, Mr. Saare loves the local cowboy culture and exploring remnants of the Old Wild West. He has been married over 26 years and has four children.
